Waterbody and Reservoir Management

On a more local level, it is a process which promotes the coordinated development and management of water, land and related resources, in order to maximise the resultant economic and social welfare in an equitable manner without compromising the sustainability of vital ecosystems.

Rejuvenation of Water Bodies

Rejuvenation of waterbodies by removing silt and trash, increasing water holding capacity, clearing the runoff channels and areas to harvest rains and excess water during floods.

Dredging of Reservoirs

To increase water holding capacity, removing silt and aquatic plants to maintain water flow.

Stabilization of Banks

Clean trash, remove silt, strengthen weak points in the banks of canals, storm drains, diversion channels, beautification programmes, etc.
